The Art of Natural Lighting

Great designs start with using the abundance of natural light that the Cayman climate provides. Our long sunny days provide us with an opportunity to naturally light our homes and bring the nature indoors. Using all that light without inviting in the heat and the ultraviolet/infrared sun directly into the home is always the challenge however.

This example highlights a character wall, allowing abundant light without sacrificing privacy.

This beautiful grey slate wall cocoons this contemporary bathroom with a soft infusion of natural light.

Here is a creative way to keep rooms bright without running up the CUC bill!

The classic Sunpipe provides nonstop light all day, even on a heavily overcast or rainy day. The Sunpipe will even infuse a room with moonlight and makes a great nightlight in a bathroom.

It is easy to appreciate the benefit of the natural light in this application.

Again, privacy, nature, and natural light combine to create a memorable space that changes hour to hour as the sun moves across the sky.
